Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne Wells Comes Up Short

Cheyenne Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Fightin' Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Cheyenne Wells now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Haxtun, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Cheyenne Wells and Genoa-Hugo will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Haxtun, they will host Merino at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
