Volleyball Recap: Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Starts off Right with Win over Niskayuna

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Niskayuna Silver Warriors 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake wouldn't go down easily and took Niskayuna into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 25-15, 22-25, 27-29, 25-17, 15-8.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake was led to victory by Audri Chamberlain and Ella Chamberlain. Audri had 15 digs and two aces, while Ella had 18 digs and one assist. Those 18 digs gave Ella a new career-high.
