Basketball Preview: Harrisburg Christian vs. East Juniata Tigers
Harrisburg Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the East Juniata Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Monday, Harrisburg Christian came up short against the and fell 49-40.
Harrisburg Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Eli Stargel, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds, and Judah Kleinschmidt who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Stargel is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played.
Meanwhile, East Juniata ended up a good deal behind the Indians on Saturday and lost 55-38. While losing is never fun, East Juniata can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 680th, while the Indians are ranked 291st).
Harrisburg Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for East Juniata, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-14.
