Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Takes a Loss

If Heritage Christian was feeling good fresh off their 81-54 takedown of University last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Heritage Christian Eagles came up short against the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves on Thursday, falling 69-49. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Braves are ranked 26th).

Heritage Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian beat Heritage Christian by a score of 69-49 on Saturday.
