Soccer Recap: Ironwood Comes Up Short

Ironwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Desert Vista Thunder, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Thunder are ranked 13th).

Ironwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Desert Vista, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4-1.

Ironwood has already played their next game (against Kellis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Desert Vista has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Millennium.
