Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Barnum

Barnum never let their opponents score on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over Braham. The win was nothing new for Barnum as they're now sitting on four straight.

The result came thanks to Alizondra Collelo's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

At the plate, Barnum's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lucy Franek, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles. Samantha Krueger also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Barnum's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Braham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barnum will welcome McGregor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Braham, they will host East Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
