Meanwhile, El Cajon Valley lost to Santana on the road by a 61-43 margin on Tuesday.

West Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for El Cajon Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Everything came up roses for West Hills against El Cajon Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, as the squad secured a 71-37 victory. In that match, West Hills amassed a halftime lead of 36-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
