Softball Game Preview: Tri-County RVT Cougars vs. Blackstone-Millville Chargers

The Tri-County RVT Cougars will challenge the Blackstone-Millville Chargers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tri-County RVT has five straight wins, Blackstone-Millville has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Monday, Tri-County RVT got the win against Blue Hills RVT by a conclusive 13-5. Fans of the Cougars have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Meanwhile, Blackstone-Millville lost 24-3 to Bellingham last Monday.

Tri-County RVT's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Blackstone-Millville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Tri-County RVT's way against Blackstone-Millville in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Tri-County RVT made off with a 15-2 victory. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
