Basketball Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss

Lutheran managed to slip by Grand Isle the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gryphons took a blow against the Trojans on Tuesday, falling 78-40. The Gryphons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Grand Isle, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lutheran will square off against Benjamin Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grand Isle, they will venture away from home to challenge Phoenix at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
