Declan Mendel gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Capuchino: the team is undefeated when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 8-9 otherwise.
