Soccer Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

If West Point was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Danville on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Brewer Patriots on Friday, falling 4-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, West Point haven't been shut out since back in March.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-3. As for Brewer, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

West Point has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Fairview on the 14th. As for Brewer, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against East Limestone on the 15th.
