Baseball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the St. Albans Red Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 on April 1st.

Riverside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron George, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was George's first of the season.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for St. Albans, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will take on Charleston Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Albans, they will face off against Capital at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
