Football Recap: D.H. Conley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

D.H. Conley played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 50-19 defeat at the hands of the Garner Trojans. The Vikings were down 35-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, D.H. Conley still got an impressive performance from Samari Cabell, who threw for 208 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 50 yards and one touchdown.

Garner was led to victory by Christian Ormandy and Amir Wallace. Ormandy threw for 160 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Wallace rushed for 133 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.

This is the second loss in a row for D.H. Conley and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Garner, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

D.H. Conley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 42-14 victory against Ayden - Grifton on the 19th. As for Garner, they have also already played their next game, a 28-26 win against Southeast Raleigh on the 19th.
