Football Game Preview: Alpena Wildcats vs. Escanaba Eskymos + How To Watch

Alpena is 2-7 against Escanaba since August of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildcats will host the Eskymos at 7:00 p.m. Escanaba took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Alpena, who comes in off a win.

Alpena is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Sault Area on Friday by a score of 41-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Escanaba was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 34-30 to Gaylord. The loss was the Eskymos' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Escanaba fell to 6-1. As for Alpena, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
