Soccer Recap: Veterans Memorial Takes a Loss

Veterans Memorial managed to keep up with New Braunfels until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Veterans Memorial Patriots lost 4-1 to the New Braunfels Unicorns. The Patriots' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Manny Pruneda, who's now up to six this season.

Veterans Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for New Braunfels, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3-2.

Veterans Memorial will head out to take on Wagner at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Veterans Memorial is facing Wagner at the right time seeing as Wagner is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for New Braunfels, they will host Smithson Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
