Dutchtown made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mary Persons, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Dutchtown put the hurt on Mary Persons with a sharp 4-1 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Dutchtown, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Savannah Callaway and Adjoa Mensah scored all four of Dutchtown's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 41 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Dutchtown and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Mary Persons, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-11.

Coming up, Dutchtown will host Jones County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mary Persons, they are taking a road trip to challenge Locust Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Locust Grove will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Mary Persons surely won't give up without a fight.
