Basketball Recap: Westbrook Christian Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Westbrook Christian and Saks squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Westbrook Christian had to settle for second. They fell to the Saks Wildcats 39-35.

Sania Angel was her usual excellent self, going 6 of 12 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds for Saks. Angel is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jakailynn Carter, who posted nine points.

Westbrook Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Saks, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

As of now, neither Westbrook Christian nor Saks have any future games scheduled.
