Hokes Bluff had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They walked away with a 37-24 victory over the Oneonta Redskins. The 37-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Hokes Bluff's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Oneonta, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season.
