Recap: Coolidge Yellowjackets vs. Bynum Bulldogs
The Coolidge Yellowjackets can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 34-23 victory over Bynum. The win was just what Coolidge needed coming off of a 55-23 loss in their prior matchup.
Bynum's loss came despite strong showings from Brooklyn Compean and Madi Westmoreland. Compean scored nine points, while Westmoreland scored eight points. That was a full 39.1% of Bynum's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Coolidge's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13. As for Bynum, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Coolidge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bynum, they will head out on the road to square off against Trinidad at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bynum is coming into the contest with ten straight defeats on the road, so Trinidad is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
