Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Everett

While Everett didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The Seagulls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Everett, bringing their record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Edmonds-Woodway, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Everett will challenge Burlington-Edison at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they will take on Stanwood at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
