Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Durant walked away with it. They blew past the Plant City Raiders 5-2 on Thursday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Plant City with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Shane Michael (3), Ryan Porter, and Chris Lankford.

Durant moved to 7-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Plant City, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1.

Durant will challenge Newsome at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Newsome will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Durant surely won't give up without a fight. Plant City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
