Baseball Recap: Mount Miguel Matadors vs. Kearny Komets

Mount Miguel extended their postseason success on Thursday against Kearny. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Kearny Komets. Winning may never get old, but Mount Miguel sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Jeremiah Castillo was incredible, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and a triple.

On Kearny's side, Laird Eaton spent all 7.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered five earned runs on five hits. Eaton has been consistent recently: he hasn't pitched less than six innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
