Southwest Christian waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Holy Family Catholic Fire. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Southwest Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Holy Family Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Southwest Christian will challenge Delano at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Family Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on Mound-Westonka at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
