Volleyball Recap: L.C. Bird Comes Up Short

L.C. Bird was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the James River Midlothian Rapids. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rapids this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

L.C. Bird's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for James River Midlothian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. L.C. Bird will take on rival Cosby at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, James River Midlothian is set to challenge their familiar foe Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
