Volleyball Recap: Shelby County Starts off Right with Win over Owen County

Shelby County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Owen County Rebels by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Rockets were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Rebels, so the Rockets were just returning the favor.

Owen County is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelby County will square off against Woodford County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Owen County, they will face off against Frankfort Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
