Baseball Recap: Page Comes Up Short

Page was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to the Somerset Eagles.

Page saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Marriot, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Marriot hit this season.

Page's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Somerset, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Page will head out to challenge Northwest Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Page is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Somerset, they will head out on the road to square off against Richland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Somerset their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
