Football Recap: Marshall County Comes Up Short

Marshall County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Apollo Eagles, falling 49-6. The matchup marked the Marshals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Marshall County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Apollo, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Marshall County will head out on the road to face off against Calloway County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Marshals will be up against the Lakers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.78 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Apollo, they will challenge Daviess County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
