Basketball Game Preview: Lake Forest Academy Caxys vs. York Dukes

The Lake Forest Academy Caxys will challenge the York Dukes at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Forest Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

On Monday, Lake Forest Academy earned a 57-48 win over Highland Park.

Meanwhile, York hadn't done well against Geneva recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. York walked away with a 53-41 victory over Geneva. Given the Dukes' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Vikings are ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

York's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Lake Forest Academy, they have also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
