            Volleyball Recap: Hozho Academy Wolves vs. Ramah Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            If Hozho Academy was feeling good  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of Dulce last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves fell just short of the Ramah Mustangs by a score of  3-2 on Tuesday. While the Wolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs  25-17 in the first  set.
 Hozho Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (104-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-23, 25-17, 11-25,  16-14.

 Hozho Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Audrey Lee, who  had six  digs and two  aces. Lee is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Hayden Tsosie, who  had 13  digs.
Hozho Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Ramah, their win  ended  a  three-match drought on the road  and  puts them at 11-9.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hozho Academy will  challenge  rival Laguna Acoma  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ramah is set to  take on  their familiar foe Dulce  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
