Baseball Recap: Falkner's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It was a good run, but Falkner unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Ingomar Falcons, falling 19-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since April 27, 2024.

Jackson Jordan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Nunley, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Falkner's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Ingomar, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Coming up, Falkner will take on Jumpertown at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Ingomar, they will square off against Calhoun Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
