Volleyball Recap: Hailey Jones Key Part of Team Effort in Lobos Win + How To Watch

Snowflake won the last time they faced Winslow and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lobos were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lobos.

Snowflake was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

Snowflake got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hailey Jones out in front who had 23 assists and five aces. Those 23 assists gave Jones a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Lyman, who had 13 digs and one assist.

They weren't the only good server: Snowflake was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive games.

When it comes to explaining why Winslow lost, don't look at Natilyn Nez. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and one assist.

Snowflake's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Winslow, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9-1.

Snowflake has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Chinle on the 19th. As for Winslow, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Safford on the 19th.
