Baseball Recap: Maret Comes Up Short

Maret lost against Sidwell Friends last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Frogs came up short against the Quakers, falling 14-4. The Frogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Isiah Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Maret's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Sidwell Friends, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

When Maret and Sidwell Friends next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Frogs will challenge Flint Hill and their four-game winning streak at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sidwell Friends will try to stop Potomac School's seven-game winning streak when they meet at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
