Maine West posted their closest victory since September 3rd on Monday. They won by a set and slipped past the Highland Park Giants 2-1. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Giants walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Maine West who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 25-20.

The victory made it two in a row for Maine West and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Highland Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
