Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brown County walked away with it. They blew past the Athens Warriors 48-0 on Saturday. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Brown County's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Athens, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Brown County will head out on the road to face off against Camp Point Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 3.9 points per game this season, so the Hornets' offense will have their work cut out for them. Athens does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
