Volleyball Recap: Cypress Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Ranch, Cypress was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Etiwanda Eagles by a score of 3-1.

Despite the defeat, Etiwanda had strong showings from Olivia Zajicek, who had 15 digs and three aces, and Alannis Machuca, who had 23 assists and three digs. Meaalofa Tauaese was another key player, getting 14 assists and three digs.

Cypress' victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Etiwanda, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Cypress has already played their next match (against St. Margaret's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Etiwanda, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Chaparral on the 19th.
