Meanwhile, Joplin didn't have quite enough to beat Memorial on Thursday and fell 47-45. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kickapoo pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.1 points. As for Joplin, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Kickapoo against Joplin in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 56-18 victory. Will Kickapoo repeat their success, or does Joplin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
