The Point Loma Pointers are taking a road trip to take on the High Tech SD Storm at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Point Loma will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
On Friday, Point Loma beat Eastlake 50-41. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Pointers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Titans are ranked 916th).

Na'Sean Hardy had another great game (as he tends to do), dropping a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Leo Ramenofsky, who had five points along with five assists and three steals.
Point Loma smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. They are a perfect 8-0 when they hit their own glass that hard.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for High Tech SD against Pinecrest Academy Cadence two weeks ago as the squad secured a 59-19 win. The Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.
High Tech SD's win came from a few key players that Point Loma will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Rafeal Suarez, who earned eight points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last three games he's played. Elijah Robinson was another key player, going 5-for-10 on his way to 10 points and six boards.
Point Loma's record is now 10-3. As for High Tech SD, their record now sits at 9-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Point Loma has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 35.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like High Tech SD struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Point Loma beat High Tech SD 69-58 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will the Pointers repeat their success, or do the Storm have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
