The matchup between Victor and Brighton on Monday hardly resembled the 4-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Blue Devils walked away with a 13-8 victory over the Bruins. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Audrey Steinorth, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Alexah Loeser also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Victor's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Brighton, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Victor will challenge Irondequoit at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.43 runs per game on average), something the Blue Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Brighton, they will square off against Webster Thomas at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
