Recap: Ribault Trojans vs. Andrew Jackson Tigers
The Ribault Trojans won the last time they faced the Andrew Jackson Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Ribault skirted past Andrew Jackson 48-45. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Ribault has scored all year.
Jaheim Robinson was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Williams, who scored nine points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Ribault's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Andrew Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ribault will be home for the holidays to greet San Jose Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Jose Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Ribault is ranked 118th). Andrew Jackson will be home for the holidays to greet Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Paxon School For Advanced Studies' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
