Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Falcons vs. Holy Family Tigers

Skyline is 0-10 against Holy Family since February of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Skyline Falcons will square off against the Holy Family Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Skyline is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 52-13 loss at the hands of Fairview. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Knights are ranked 126th).

Meanwhile, Holy Family played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Broomfield, falling 66-42.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Holy Family, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Skyline was taken down by Holy Family 70-20 when the teams last played back in February of 2021. Thankfully for Skyline, Alyssa Wells (who went 7 for 12 en route to 21 points and eight steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
