Basketball Game Preview: Limon Badgers vs. Crowley County Chargers

Having just played yesterday, the Limon Badgers will get right back to it and host the Crowley County Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Limon came up short against McClave and fell 60-49. The Badgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Crowley County entered their tilt with Peyton on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victor by a 72-52 margin over the Panthers. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Panthers are ranked 124th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crowley County's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Limon, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Limon was able to grind out a solid win over Crowley County when the teams last played back in March of 2022, winning 41-29. Will Limon repeat their success, or does Crowley County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
