Volleyball Recap: St. John Comes Up Short

St. John was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Woodchucks were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Benson County [Leeds/Maddock], they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. St. John is set to take on their familiar foe Four Winds/Minnewaukan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] will face off against rival Harvey at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
