Soccer Recap: Central Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten goals the game before, Central Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sun Valley Spartans, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Central Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Sun Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Central Academy face off against Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Academy has given up an average of 4.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Sun Valley, they will take on Butler at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
