Basketball Game Preview: Florence/Henry Falcons vs. Groton Tigers

The Florence/Henry Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Groton Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Florence/Henry strolled past Warner with points to spare, taking the game 65-49.

Mobridge-Pollock typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Groton proved too difficult a challenge. They took down Mobridge-Pollock 64-49. Groton hasn't had any issues with Mobridge-Pollock recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Florence/Henry's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Groton, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

Florence/Henry might still be hurting after the 73-50 loss they got from Groton when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Florence/Henry avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
