Basketball Recap: Ste. Genevieve Takes a Loss

Ste. Genevieve lost against Jefferson back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Ste. Genevieve Dragons fell 41-34 to the Jefferson Blue Jays. The game marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Ste. Genevieve has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Jefferson, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Ste. Genevieve will face off against Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Ste. Genevieve surely won't give up without a fight. Jefferson has already played their next match (against Sullivan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
