Basketball Recap: Pebblebrook Takes a Loss

If Pebblebrook was feeling good fresh off their 54-31 takedown of Dunwoody last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pebblebrook Falcons took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrison Hoyas on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Hoyas are ranked 84th).

Pebblebrook dropped their record down to 7-17 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Harrison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-7.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Pebblebrook Falcons challenge the South Cobb Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pebblebrook is facing South Cobb at the right time seeing as South Cobb is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Harrison, they will head out to take on McEachern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
