Atlanta Area School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 68-31 loss at the hands of the Cottage Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-40 on Wednesday.

Leading Cottage to victory were Jackson Barnes and Gavin Akers. Barnes almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, nine rebounds, and ten assists, while Akers dropped a double-double on 20 points and 18 boards. Barnes is becoming a predictor of Cottage's success: when he posts at least eight assists the team is 2-1 (and 5-11 when he doesn't). Luke Edwards was another key player, putting up 12 points and seven boards.
