Tyler HEAT piles up the points against Lindale

Tyler HEAT have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Lindale, posting a 62-33 win on the road. 62 seems to be a good number for Tyler HEAT as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Tyler HEAT's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Hall, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Grimes, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.

The win was the fourth in a row for Tyler HEAT, bringing their record for this year to 19-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Lindale, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Tyler HEAT's road trip will continue as they head out to face King's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 2nd. King's Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1521st, while Tyler HEAT is ranked 209th). As for Lindale, they will be playing at home against Van at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Van is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
