Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Metea Valley). They walked away with a 47-36 victory over the Plainfield East Bengals on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Metea Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Plainfield East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Metea Valley will host Willowbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Plainfield East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plainfield North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
