Basketball Game Preview: Bosque Bobcats vs. Hope Christian Huskies

Bosque is 0-6 against Hope Christian since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bosque Bobcats will look to defend their home court against the Hope Christian Huskies at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Hope Christian will be up against a hot Bosque squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Bosque enjoyed a cozy 57-42 win over Cuba on Thursday.

Bosque found their leader in sophomore Josiah Wilson, who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards. That's the most points Wilson has posted since back in December of 2024. Luca Kalishman was another key player, putting up ten points and five steals.

Bosque smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hope Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-54 victory over Valley on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since January 17th.

The victory got Hope Christian back to even at 12-12. As for Bosque, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.
